Our website project · In Safe Company and LS Jordan Design

When someone reaches out, they should land in safe company.

A new name deserves a new home online. One website that brings your whole mission together, makes help easy to find, and carries your story the way you would tell it yourself.

This site respects your visitors. Quick exit, no autoplay, nothing that gets in the way of someone who needs help right now.

Why this matters

Forty years of showing up. The website should show up too.

Your work began with a loss this community never forgot, and it grew into a place where thousands of survivors find safety, advocacy, and a way forward. In 2025 alone your team served close to ten thousand people.

The new name says it plainly. Anyone who reaches out is in safe company. No judgment, no wrong door. Your website is usually the very first hello, and right now that hello is split across three different places and a platform you have outgrown.

This project gives that first hello a single, steady, beautiful home that you own and that grows with you.

Where things stand today

One mission living in three different houses.

wrcdv.org

The main site

Programs, crisis services, news, events, donations, and the SISTERs Stories podcast.

niasvisitation.org

Nia's Place

Supervised visitation and safe exchange, run as its own standalone site.

camppeaceatl.org

Camp PEACE

Your free summer program for children, living on a third separate site.

insafecompany.org

In Safe Company

One home for the whole mission

The main siteNia's PlaceCamp PEACE

Right now your story is spread across three separate websites, each built on Wix, each with its own login, its own look, and its own upkeep. Visitors fall through the gaps. Your team carries the weight of keeping three things alive instead of one.

We bring all three under one roof.

One brand. One backend. One team to call. Every old link sends visitors to the right new page, so nothing you have built is lost and search engines keep their footing.

The promise at the center of everything

Help, give, or volunteer in two or three clicks. Never more.

Three people arrive at your site every day with three very different needs. The whole design is built so each one reaches their goal almost immediately, on any device, without thinking.

Someone who needs help

1 click

Crisis services and the hotline, reachable from every single page.

Someone ready to give

2 clicks

A clean, trustworthy donation page with no detours.

Someone who wants to help

2 clicks

Clear ways to volunteer, sign up, and show up.

Built for the people you serve

Safe by design. Open to everyone.

A website for survivors carries a responsibility that an ordinary site does not. We build to that responsibility from the first wireframe, not as a feature we add at the end.

Quick exit on every page

One tap, or a quick keyboard press, sends a visitor away to a neutral site in an instant. Clearly labeled, always reachable, with honest guidance about browsing history.

Trauma informed from the ground up

Calm pacing, plain language, gentle motion, and no autoplay. Every choice lowers stress instead of adding to it.

Accessibility that exceeds the standard

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA in full and reach for AAA where it counts, so people using screen readers, keyboards, or larger text are fully welcome. An accessibility statement comes with the site.

Privacy you can stand behind

Minimal tracking, clear notices, and careful handling of anything a visitor shares. The site protects the people who trust it.

What the new site does

Everything you need, nothing you have to wrestle with.

A site you own outright

Custom WordPress, not a rented platform. You hold the keys, the files, and the freedom to grow without asking permission or paying a toll.

You edit it yourself, easily

A clean visual editor means Amber updates words, swaps photos, and posts news without touching code or calling a designer. The hard parts are handled. The easy parts stay easy.

Your podcast, front and center

SISTERs Stories lives right on the site, ready to play and to watch, with new episodes added as simply as writing a post.

Events and news in your hands

Add a vigil, a walk, a Champions for Change night, or a news story in minutes. Everything stays current without a developer in the loop.

Giving that feels trustworthy

A donation experience designed to reduce friction and build confidence, connected cleanly to the tools you already use.

Custom pieces for your work

Where an off the shelf tool falls short, we build a custom widget made for the way your organization actually operates.

How we get there together

Our roadmap: kickoff August 10, launch October 1.

No mystery, no black box. Each phase ends with something real you can review and approve, and every date lives on the calendar. Launching October 1 puts the new In Safe Company brand front and center for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Dates shift together if an approval moves, and we flag any change within two business days.

Our investment

The Partner tier. Chosen together, at a nonprofit rate.

We looked at three paths and chose this one together: one unified site with your custom look, your new voice, and a soft landing after launch. A fixed price, paid in milestones you approve: $7,200 at signing, $5,400 at design approval, and $5,400 at launch.

Our partnership

Partner

$18,000

Everything the mission needs: one unified, accessible site, your custom look, your new voice, and a partner who stays.

  • All three sites merged into one custom platform you own
  • Core pages, news, events, and the podcast
  • Streamlined donations and the quick exit safety feature
  • Full content curation and fresh copy in your new voice
  • Custom design templates and custom widgets
  • Deeper trauma informed experience and selective AAA accessibility
  • Donation and volunteer flows tuned to convert
  • Search visibility carried through the move
  • Six months of hands on support after launch

Fixed price, you approve every phase, six months of support after launch at no additional cost, and no lock in, ever.

  • Fixed price, no surprises
  • You approve every phase
  • Six months of support included
  • No lock in, you own it

This is already a nonprofit partnership rate. Friends and family pricing for work we believe in.

Comparable agency builds for a site like this commonly run forty thousand dollars and up. The Partner tier is already a nonprofit partnership rate.

After launch

We stay. You are never holding this alone.

A website is a living thing. Pick the level of partnership that fits, and consider us on call. Amber should never have to wonder who to phone. Pause or restart any time, or simply bill by the hour when you need us. There is no lock in, ever.

Essential

$150per month

Hosting care, updates, backups, security, uptime watch, and small edits.

Partner

$350per month

Everything in Essential, plus monthly hours for content and development, priority response, and a quarterly accessibility check.

Backbone

$600per month

Everything in Partner, plus deeper monthly hours, strategy, and true on call support.

When you are ready, not before

A thoughtful path to automation, with safety leading the way.

You mentioned interest in AI down the road. The potential is real, and so is the responsibility, because of who you serve. We build the site ready for it, and when you are ready we move carefully. Privacy first. Human help always one step away. Nothing survivor facing until it has passed a careful safety review.

The heart of it

Let us carry the web so your team can carry the mission.

You should not have to become web experts to have a website worthy of your work. That is our job, and we would be honored to do it for you.

We will hold your hand through every phase, hand you something you fully own, and stay on call long after launch. Think of us as the backbone of your web communication, quietly keeping it strong so you can keep doing the work that changes lives.

When someone reaches out to you, they find safe company. When you reach out to us, we want you to feel the same.

What happens next

  1. 1

    A conversation

We learn your goals and answer every question. No pressure, and no jargon.

  2. 2

    A plan made for you

We shape the phases and the investment around In Safe Company, never a template.

  3. 3

    We begin, together

You give the word, and we get to work this summer.

Let's begin this summer

Start the conversation however feels right. We will take it from there.
